BEGINNER GROUP CLASS: Level 0
Level 0: Designed for new French learners or in constructing basic sentences, even after using tools like Duolingo for several months.
This course is designed to prepare beginners to travel to France and have real conversations with French people.

📆 Calendar: IN-PERSON: NEW – From the 31st of March, you’ll have an hour class every Monday at 5 pm for 8 weeks until the 19th of May. If you miss a class, you’ll still get the material and some explanations from me, so there’s no excuse to keep practising your French every week.

BEGINNER GROUP CLASS: Level 1
Level 1 – Emerging Beginner: Tailored for students who are beginning to feel confident in forming questions and responses in French, and are proficient with fundamental present tense verbs (I want, I can, I like etc).
This course is designed to prepare beginners to have real conversations with French people.

📆 Calendar: IN-PERSON: NEW – From the week starting on the 17th of March for 10 weeks, you can choose between different dates:
- Every Monday at 6:10 pm (level 1)
- Every Monday at 7:10 pm (petit level 1)
- Every Wednesday at 4 pm (level 1+)
OR
📆 ONLINE: From the 18th of March, you’ll have an hour class every Tuesday at 7:30 pm for 10 weeks until the 20th of May. If you miss a class, don’t worry—you’ll get a replay of the class and the materials seen.

ADVANCED BEGINNERS GROUP CLASS:
This course is designed for advanced beginners and improvers who can communicate slowly in French and are starting to engage in French conversations (with mistakes). Students should already be familiar with fundamental tenses such as the présent (je mange), passé composé (j’ai mangé), and futur proche (je vais manger).
📆 Calendar: NEW – IN-PERSON: From the 19th of March, you’ll have an hour class every Wednesday at 1:30 pm for 10 weeks until the 21st of May. If you miss a class, you’ll still get the material and some explanations from me, so there’s no excuse to keep practising your French every week.

📆 ONLINE: From the 19th of March, you’ll have an hour class every Wednesday at 7:30 pm for 10 weeks until the 21st of May. If you miss a class, don’t worry, you’ll get the replay of the class and the materials seen.

INTERMEDIATE GROUP CLASS: B2+
This course is specially designed for intermediate students (B2) aiming to feel more comfortable and confident in French.
📚 At this level, we speak all the time in French. Students at this level are not afraid to speak and are happy to go over more complex concepts in French. They can follow full French discussion and know pretty much all the tenses. This class is mostly discussion-oriented but still with a structure to give you more vocabulary and French expressions. We aim to immerse you for an hour in France, with almost full-speed of French, and to teach you the way French people speak.
📆 Calendar: IN-PERSON: From the 19th of March, you’ll have an hour class every Wednesday at 2:45 pm for 10 weeks until the 21st of May.

📆 ONLINE: You can join the discussion classes (drop in) in a relaxed and fun environment where the aim is to speak, speak & speak, more information here.

Really enjoyed Gabrielle’s classes; they were fun, but challenging too. I feel I have progressed significantly over the 7 one hour sessions…. While I had some basic French from school (an awful long time ago) I had subsequently learnt Spanish…. Gabrielle has been patient, and helped me and the other learners get key basic phrases right. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to get to grips with French.
