So join our French group classes and give yourself a real chance of learning French properly!
With our experienced teachers Louise and Gabrielle and their support, you’ll learn how to communicate in real everyday situations in French, and you’ll see your progress day by day. Ready to take the first step?
You’ll join a small group of students (6 people max). You can decide to have the group class online or in person in Edinburgh or Dundee.

BEGINNER GROUP CLASS: Level 0
Level 0: Designed for new French learners or in constructing basic sentences, even after using tools like Duolingo for several months.
This course is designed to prepare beginners to travel to France and have real conversations with French people.
📆 Calendar: From the 29th of August, you’ll have an hour class every Thursday at 6 pm for 8 weeks until the 17th of October.
ONLINE: September course / Date to be confirmed soon.
Over the 8 weeks, you’ll learn to:
Introduce yourself
Use essential verbs
Ask questions
Express likes and dislikes
Make well-structured sentences
Order food and drinks
Make reservations

BEGINNER GROUP CLASS: Level 1
Level 1 – Emerging Beginner: Tailored for students who are beginning to feel confident in forming questions and responses in French, and are proficient with fundamental present tense verbs (I want, I can, I like etc).
This course is designed to prepare beginners to have real conversations with French people.
📆 Calendar: From the 26th of August, you’ll have an hour of class every week for 8 weeks until the 14th of October. Two options are available:
- Monday at 6:10 PM
- Tuesday at 7:20 PM
- Wednesday at 5 PM
ONLINE: Next September 2024 – Date to be confirmed soon.
Over the course, you’ll learn to:
- Use adjectives and emotions
- Speak with future tense with “aller”
- Compare and share your opinion (I think it’s better to do…, it’s worse…)
- Tips to speak like a French person not with “voulez-vous, puis-je…”
- Make well-structured sentences

BEGINNER GROUP CLASS: Level 2
Level 2 – Progressing Beginner: Designed for students who have learnt French for a few months and feel comfortable to have a limited conversation using present tense and future with aller: “Qu’est ce que tu vas faire aujourd’hui ? Je vais voir mes amis, nous allons anger…”. They start to understand a bit more French speakers when they speak at their own pace. You already learnt past tense (je suis allé, j’ai fait, j’ai mangé…)
This course is designed to prepare beginners to have real conversations with French people.
📆 Calendar: From the 26th of August, you’ll have an hour of class every week for 8 weeks until the week starting on the 14th of October. Two options are available:
- Monday at 5:00 PM
- Thursday at 7:15 PM
ONLINE: Next September 2024 – Date to be confirmed soon.
Over the course, you’ll learn to:
- Use the expression “Il faut”
- Discover the reflexive verbs “je me lave, se laver”
- Practise the past tense
- Make well-structured sentences

IMPROVERS GROUP CLASS: A2
This course is designed for improvers students (A2) who want to feel more comfortable and confident in French. Over the course, we’ll focus on practical French concepts you can use immediately. The class is mainly discussion-oriented in French.
📆 IN-PERSON: From the 26th of August, you’ll have an hour of class every week for 8 weeks until the week starting on the 14th of October. Two options are available:
- Tuesday at 6:10 PM
- Wednesday at 6:00 PM
📆 ONLINE: Next September 2024 – Date to be confirmed soon.
Can’t be there every week? Don’t worry you’ll get explanations and all the materials seen during the class.

INTERMEDIATE GROUP CLASS: B1
This course is specially designed for intermediate students (B1) aiming to feel more comfortable and confident in French.
Drop-in session – Discussion Workshops:
- Monday 22nd of July at 7:15 pm
Each class would be a different subject! Drop-in is available at £18,5.
8-week COURSE in September:
The main goal is to help you become more at ease with speaking French, which can often be the trickiest part of language learning. Join us in a relaxed and stress-free environment where we’ll work together to improve your conversational skills. The class is fully in French.
Over those 8 weeks, we’ll focus on practical French concepts that you can use right away with always aim to discuss in French
📆 Calendar: Every Monday at 7:20 pm, from the 26th of August, you’ll have an hour class until the 14th of October (8-week course).

Our French Course
Life is too short to learn French with a method that makes you yawn! We are always trying to keep the class entertaining and fun. Every class includes homework and different types of exercises to help you keep a good routine outside of the class. You'll get all the materials seen before/after each class, meaning you don't need to buy a book. Are you going to miss one class? Don’t worry you’ll still get the material, the replay and some explanations so then no excuse to keep practising your French every week! 🗣️ You choose if you want to have the class online or in person in Edinburgh.

I created my French school in Edinburgh in 2021. Since then, I’ve helped students from all over the world raise their level in real-world conversational French.
